Let’s face it: preparing for a substitute teacher can be stressful and draining. It adds work on top of the already heavy workload that we have as teachers.
But, I’m here to tell you some good news: having a substitute binder helps take most of the stress and pressure off of you!
One thing I did last summer to help prepare myself for the following school year was make a substitute binder. And the best part was that it took me less than an hour to put together! All you need is a 3 ring binder, page protectors, and a sub binder template, like the ones I have in my TPT store shown below.
Here are 3 reasons you need a sub binder:
❤️ 1. It allows you to be out with SO MUCH LESS stress.
⭐️ 2. Everything is organized for your sub in ONE place.
☀️ 3. Your sub will LOVE it!
Teachers just like you said:
★★★★★ Mollie – “This is WONDERFUL! I have been a teacher for 9 years and thought it’s time to up my sub plans and make them more friendly and organized for subs! I wish I had done this a long time ago! Great color scheme, lot’s of informative pages for subs and I love that it is editable, so I could add some personal touches!”
★★★★★ Natalie – “A perfect way to prepare my sub for the day! Everything they will need in one place. Easy to edit and print. User friendly and easy to locate all information!”
★★★★★ Samantha – “I love this resource! It has everything needed for a binder that sets up substitute teachers for success.”
My sub binder has been a HUGE help when managing stress and planning when I need to be out of the classroom, especially if it’s unexpected.
I pray it will be a blessing to you too!
